As a salaried fulltime employee of Ferguson Consulting, you will function as a contract IT resource in the role of Senior Business Analyst at the enterprise level for our telecommunications client in Maryland Heights, MO.

As a Ferguson Consulting employee, and a consultant to our end client, you are able to focus on your technical skills development and career versus becoming a client SME - which is always in your best interest.

Technical domain area expertise:

  • Working on Mobile Web Portal and Buyflow Processes (eCommerce)
  • Working on Customer Care Support Tools and Processes (Zendesk)
  • Working with Telesales Tools and Processes
  • Working with Customer Profile Management Tool (Self Care Portal and Customer Care)

  • Working with Mobile Retail Stores and Tools (Retail UI and POS)

What You'll Do:

  • Attend Kick-off Meetings
  • Review Project Charters
  • Identify Stakeholders
  • Perform Requirements Analysis
  • Perform Gap Analysis in the Requirements
  • Conduct Elicitations Meeting with All the Stakeholders Involved
  • Internal Mobile Architect/Dev Team Discussion
  • Prepare Requirements Document (BAPD)
  • Review Requirements Document (BAPD) with Business or Stakeholders
  • Lock Down Requirements (BAPD)
  • Approve Final Requirements Document (BAPD) with All the Stakeholder
  • Review Requirements Document (BAPD) with QA Team
  • Support QA Team with Testing and Defect Triage
  • Work with Requirements Documentation Tools (ArchiMetrics)
  • Work with BPMN Process and UML Notations
  • Work with Jira and User Stories

  • Work with Coin and Chalk Sites

Who you Are:

  • Experience being a liaison between technical groups and the business
  • Requirements definition and elicitation
  • Ensure requirements are clear, concise and testable
  • A willingness to provide constructive feedback on projects
  • Ability to independently research topics using available tools like SharePoint and other document repositories
  • Ability to recognize and determine whether the changes as a result of the project would impact other systems
  • Ability to recognize up/downstream dependencies
  • Organizational skills; coordination of meeting agendas, minutes and action items
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Experience with MS Visio
  • Other considerations which may be overlooked by business

Business Analysis Tools (Nice to Have):

  • VP ArchiMetric (formerly known as Visual Paradigm)
  • Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN)

The compensation:

Highly competitive base salary.
