The role:

As a salaried fulltime employee of Ferguson Consulting, you will function as a contract IT resource in the role of IT Delivery Manager who has experience as a Scrum Master

at the enterprise level for our telecommunications client in St. Louis, MO.

As a IT Delivery Manager who has experience as a Scrum Master, you will provide effective collaboration, facilitation, leadership, and coaching skills supporting the feature driven development process and delivery of our enterprise applications. As an agile expert, you will be responsible for driving project execution, removing impediments and promoting transparency. You will facilitate daily stand-ups and ensure the integrity of the agile process by capturing team metrics and removing obstacles to drive projects to successful release. The ideal candidate would have progressed through their career as Delivery Manager, Business Analyst and/or Project Manager.

What You’ll Do:

  • Coach the development team and stakeholders on how to use Agile/Scrum practices.
  • Act as Senior Scrum Master for teams with a focus on guiding the teams towards project goals while also improving the way they work.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, retrospective and sprint demos.
  • Assist the product owner with keeping the backlog groomed.
  • Ensure cross-team coordination.
  • Reach out to the larger company network for impediment removal.
  • Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing.
  • Ensure that our ways of working are consistent across the teams.
  • Work with Senior Leadership and/or Product Managers to help communicate status of the projects.
  • Strengthen the presence of our workgroup as a Feature Driven Development team.

Who You Are:

  • At least 3 years of hands on experience working in an agile environment, preferably in a variety of situations and roles.
  • Solid knowledge of the software development life cycle.
  • Certified scrum master/scrum practitioner.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of lean principles, scrum, and Kanban.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.


  • Previous and/or current experience as a Delivery Manager, Project Manager and/or Business Analyst.

The compensation:

Highly competitive base salary.
