Job Description:

Description of Responsibilities:
Project Management(Primary Role):
Manage and lead application development and support projects, which includes people and tasks, on a high visibility system. Some projects could span multiple departments. Responsibilities include:
*Planning, executing and implementing projects on-time and within budget to achieve project deliverables
*Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing and in a timely manner all issues, risks, concerns and status to IS management, senior management, business partners and other IS departments
*Running complex projects/programs from design and development to production
-Employing standard project management practices to define and manage project scope, work plan, deliverable quality, resources needs, risk mitigation and contingency planning
-Effectively applying NPP methodology and enforcing project standards
-Managing multiple projects concurrently
*Applying strong organizational, presentation, negotiation, and customer service skills
*Reviewing, analyzing and evaluating processes and user needs for the system and negotiating deliverables and timelines with IT and business management
*Consulting and advising team with regard to architecture approaches
oEnsuring projects are completed by adhering to project management standards and architectural principles
oInfluencing and proposing approaches and methodologies to properly align work with process
*Identifying and solving project issues, and employing appropriate escalation practices, as needed
*Resource planning across multiple departments
*Conveying a sense of urgency to all team members, business stakeholders and management
You must have experience leading $100K - $500K application software/data warehousing type projects, involving multiple departments. Strong communication skills, both oral and written are required. You must be able to convey a sense of urgency. You must have critical thinking skills and demonstrate the ability to perform root cause analysis. You must have a proven track record of taking the initiative and following through.
Business Analysis(Secondary Role):
At times, you may also be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements from end-users, participating in design sessions, data analysis, creating end-user reports, report specifications and developing test scripts.
