Ferguson Consulting is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a contract to immediately staff a project team!
Position is long term (15 months), working on-site in Springfield, Illinois. **Relocation to Springfield, IL is preferred, but we will consider candidates that will commute to Springfield 5 days a week. Per Diem arrangement is an option.**

Description
Assimilates information on new systems under development and existing applications being updated or maintained, and develops documentation of system functionality sufficient for operational support and maintenance personnel and instruction manuals, on-line help and/or training materials for system users. Positions work under indirect supervision in the performance of the majority of duties. Decisions made are in accordance with general instructions, established methods and clearly defined precedents, with unusual problems referred to higher-level professionals. Requires frequent personal contact with other Information Technology professionals and executes difficult planning and/or scheduling activities to accomplish goals and objectives.
Required
Associates degree in computer related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Experience using Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Two or more years of technical writing and/or training experience
Preferred
Experience using training development tools
Experience using Microsoft Team Foundation Server, SharePoint, and Visio
