Job Description:
This is a long term (15 months) position working on-site in Springfield, Illinois. **Relocation to Springfield, IL is preferred, but we will consider candidates that will commute to Springfield 5 days a week. Per Diem arrangement is an option.**
W-2 CANDIDATES ONLY. U.S. CITIZENS PREFERRED. GREENCARD, EAD AND H1B ACCEPTED.
You will be the primary SQL Server database resource for a software development team responsible for developing new applications using the latest tools: Visual Studio 2010, SQL Server 2008, SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS.
Requires experience supporting software development: database design; stored procedure development, review, and optimization; SQL review and optimization; database performance tuning, etc.
Some database administration also required: environment management, promotion, security, etc.
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems
5+ years of experience with database development/administration
SQL Server: T-SQL, Query Analyzer, DTS, Reporting Services
Preferred Experience
SQL Server Analysis Services, Integration Services
Microsoft Team Foundation Server
