The role:

Starting as a salaried fulltime employee of Ferguson Consulting, you will function as a contract IT resource in the role of Senior Business Analyst at the enterprise level for our telecommunications client in Maryland Heights, MO. This particular role is looking for a candidate who is interested in conversion after 6 months to a fulltime employee status with our client as the employer.

What You'll Do:

  • Generate requirements documentation, with minimal direction, through facilitated work sessions or individual interviews with sponsors and stakeholders and manage changes to those requirements.
  • Document detailed requirements, user stories, business processes and fit/gap analysis
  • Facilitate and participate in discussions, to ensure that solutions with multiple alternatives have been evaluated and are able to meet business requirements.

  • Facilitates discussions in order to obtain agreements and commitments between business unit(s) and service delivery organizations from initial requirements to final implementation

Who You Are:

  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, Iterative methodologies
  • Experience with eliciting and documenting business requirements from stakeholders
  • Experience analyzing Business Process Documents (BAPDs)
  • Strong experience with User Stories and/or Use Cases
  • Experience creating traceability matrices
  • Strong business process modeling skills
  • Strong functional requirements skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience

The compensation:

Highly competitive base salary.
