As a salaried fulltime employee of Ferguson Consulting, you will function as a contract IT resource in the role of IT Delivery Manager who has experience as a Scrum Master at the enterprise level for our telecommunications client in St. Louis, MO.

As an IT Delivery Manager who has experience as a Scrum Master you will be accountable for leading a team of IT professionals responsible for collecting and understanding technical business requirements and delivering solutions for a focused group of technology. You will manage the end to end software development life cycle, including close collaboration with project sponsors, business owners and shared IT resources and the day-to-day leadership for project execution within their IT work stream. Additionally, you will be accountable for all feature deliverables of the IT Delivery Team within their assigned work stream and remain the single point of contact for Business Owners into the IT organization. This is a large, complex and highly visible project where you will be working on a point of sales and mobile multiyear assignment.

What You Are:

  • Practical project management experience (5-7 years) with full responsibility for project delivery and management and 3 years of hands on experience working in an agile environment, preferably in a variety of situations and roles
  • Knowledge and/or experience of lean principles, scrum, and Kanban
  • Strong acumen for PM fundamentals
  • Ability to organize and manage task and requests in fast paced environment
  • Ability to critically analyze business situation and develop solutions
  • Ability to clearly and accurately communicate at project and executive level
  • Desire to learn and be part of the solution
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Solid knowledge of the software development life cycle
  • Certified scrum master/scrum practitioner preferred

Highly competitive base salary.
