The role:

As an FTE of Ferguson Consulting, your role will be working on major global projects on a web based applications with a team of 6-8. Description:

As a Senior Project Manager they will participate in fast paced, team oriented software development projects. The ideal candidate must have a driver mentality, experience working on complex technical projects and the ability to motivate a team with focus on business and achieving results. Additionally, they need to have thick skin and their ability to get buy in is crucial.

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside business and development partners to deliver solutions
  • Communicate extensively with external or internal teams
  • Lead the project team, consisting of internal dev, QA, and BA team members
  • Work with the team to identify options for potential solutions and review them for both technical and business suitability
  • Drive toward business results, such as feature development, stability for rollout, etc
  • Identify risk and mitigation
  • Manage the team’s tasks and ensure priorities are clear, escalating when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Need to be technical PM with previous IT experience and development
  • Solid understanding of web systems design (previous development experience)
  • Experience and proven results in Agile methodology
  • Ability to work on concurrent projects
  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals

  • Experience in a variety of PM functions, including roles/responsibilities management, scheduling, workflow documentation, technical specifications, use case scenarios, flowcharts and strategic business plans

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of software development lifecycle including requirements definition, initial application design, testing, final implementation and support
  • Experience with technical software application development
  • Experience with automation, load, stress and security/vulnerability testing tools
  • Experience testing restaurant or retail systems a plus

The compensation:

Highly competitive base salary.
