The role:

As a FTE of Ferguson Consulting, you will function as a Senior Project Manager/Program Manager for one of our most prestigious customers who is also one the world’s largest breweries. They are located in the historic Soulard neighborhood of St. Louis. As the Senior Project Manager/Program Manager you will start a new Data Management & Visualization project. You will act as the liaison between the Portfolio Manager and the external clients (Business and Vendors).

We’ve learned over the years how to comply with our clients’ unique procurement procedures and to keep in step with their overall processes so we can be responsive to their requests and requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing multiple major highly transformational projects
  • Understand and execute project tasks in accordance with Client delivery methodology
  • Execute project delivery in line with departmental flight plan and Excellence Program
  • Prepare and attend required Client Steering Committee meetings together with the appropriate Client
  • Report project status and manage communication between the project team and its stakeholders
  • Participate in and lead project status meetings
  • Complete Project Manager on-boarding training, to be prepared and delivered by client
  • Ensure necessary project artifacts are appropriately stored in project notebook (SharePoint based repository)
  • Update Project Flight Plan in a timely manner, and with sufficient evidence
  • Interface with client PPM to ensure alignment with Excellence Program objectives
  • Document and manage project scope
  • Generate project status deliverables, with quality, frequency, and tailored for specific target audiences as prescribed by Client Tech Manager

Requirements:

  • 8+ Years’ experience as Project Manager/Program Manager
  • Agile Experience Required
  • Some working experience with BI and data management, not necessary to have the tools experience
  • Preference to have any BI best practices / thought leadership to add value
  • Candidate must be a self-starter and who can think like an owner and has the ability to learn and understand what makes the business customer tick so that they can anticipate needs and issues

The compensation:

Highly competitive base salary.
