The role:

As an IT professional with Ferguson Consulting, you will work as a .NET Developer on a Web Server Development Project within the Task Management System Team (TMS) at our telecommunications client.

Description:

Candidate will be working on a team of 6+ DEVS, 4 BA, 1 PMs, and 3 QA. These resources are dedicated to supporting and developing a robust enterprise workflow/ticketing system called TMS (Task Management System), which is used by many different departments across the enterprise with 10K+ users. TMS is comprised of a full-featured dashboard and modules supporting business-critical functions such as task creation, automation, communications, and reporting. TMS is a proprietary web application, built from the grown up and very flexible/extensible ASP.NET MVC application written in C#.NET with a SQL Server 2012 backend. The candidate would be a full-stack developer who has experience and passion with ASP.NET MVC, front-end languages (JavaScript, CSS3, HTML), and supporting technologies like Bootstrap, jQuery, JSON, and Knockout. Experience with REST API and SQL Server are required.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, development and support web applications utilizing ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, CSS3, jQuery, JSON, Bootstrap, and KnockoutJS
  • Create, enhance, and consume REST API and Web Services
  • Work with SQL Server, stored procedures, functions, and SQL Server development tools
  • Participate in Agile Scrum development methodology using Jira
