Description:

As an FTE of Ferguson Consulting, you will function as a Senior Business Analyst working with the solutions owner team within the eCommerce group of our telecommunications client.

The responsibilities:

    • Generate requirements documentation, with minimal direction, through facilitated work sessions or individual interviews with sponsors and stakeholders and manage changes to those requirements.
    • Develop user stories for new project requests
    • Ability to reconcile requirements from multiple groups to ensure all needs are accounted for and are traced back to the business objectives.
    • Facilitate and participate in discussions, to ensure that solutions with multiple alternatives have been evaluated and are able to meet business requirements.
    • Facilitates discussions in order to obtain agreements and commitments between business unit(s) and service delivery organizations from initial requirements to final implementation
    • Perform traceability of requirements
    • Partner with Analytics team and business team to identify ROI on project requests, business trends and drive ideation into business request

The qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical field or equivalent work experience
    • Must have 10+ years' experience as an IT Business Analyst
    • Experience with eliciting and documenting requirements from stakeholders
    • Experienced with Use Cases
    • Good understanding of core business processes and service delivery capabilities
    • Demonstrable understanding of business analysis and process design skills
    • Strong ability to translate and communicate business needs into technical terms
    • Strong ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner

Exposure with the below will be considered a plus:

    • Experience with Tableau
    • Telecommunications industry experience

    • eCommerce experience

Soft skills:

    • Assertive, yet customer service oriented
    • View yourself as being a solution provider and approaches requirement elicitation with that in mind
    • Ability to adjust quickly to processes and delivery schedule and still produce quality work

The compensation:

Highly competitive base salary.
